LWR Heath Kits Your quick action is needed to help people who face sudden crises. In early February, our children and youth Sunday School classes will be assembling Lutheran World Relief (LWR) Health Kits. LWR provides these kits to refugees who ~ for whatever reason ~ must flee their homes with no time to pack items essential to personal hygiene. You can help by providing the following items by Sunday, February 6th:
▪ one hand towel, dark color recommended
▪ one washcloth, dark color recommended
▪ one bath-size bar (4 to 5 oz.) of soap, any brand, in its original wrapping
▪ one adult-size toothbrush in its original packaging
▪ one sturdy comb, remove packaging
▪ one metal nail file or nail clippers with file attached, remove packaging
▪ Band-Aids® (or similar brand), preferably 1/2" to 3/4"
All items should be new and, as appropriate, in original packaging. A basket will be placed in the narthex to receive the items. Thanks for helping our children and youth and, most especially, for extending a Mount Calvary hand to refugees!
